About the practice

A small, senior practice built on the work itself.

Mind Center was founded on a simple idea: that careful, long-form psychotherapy still matters — and that finding the right therapist shouldn't feel like a guessing game.

Our mission

To make excellent therapy findable, and durable.

We exist to offer the kind of psychotherapy that holds up over the long arc of a life — the work that helps people not only feel better, but live more fully as themselves.

That means a curated team of senior clinicians, careful matching, and a practice culture that protects the time and quiet attention real therapy requires.

What we value

Four commitments that shape every conversation in this practice.

Depth over speed

We don't promise quick fixes. We promise the kind of work that holds.

Care without performance

Therapy is not a brand experience. It's an honest relationship between two people.

Evidence, with humanity

We use what's been proven to work — and remember that the person matters more than the protocol.

Discretion, always

Privacy is foundational, not a feature. We take confidentiality seriously in every detail.

What makes us different

We are a practice, not a platform.

We are intentionally small. Every clinician on our team practices full-time, consults with one another weekly, and is invested in the long-term success of the people they see.

You won't be re-assigned. You won't talk to a chatbot. You won't be matched by an algorithm. You'll meet a person, on a phone, who will help you decide what's next.

Therapeutic philosophy

Insight, in service of change.

Our approach is relational and integrative. We draw on psychodynamic thinking to understand the deeper story, and on evidence-based methods — CBT, ACT, EFT, IFS, and trauma-focused approaches — to make that understanding practical.

Symptoms are taken seriously and so are the patterns underneath them. Insight is meaningful, and so is what you do on Tuesday morning.
