How therapy is structured

Weekly sessions, real continuity, and the freedom to go deeper.

Sessions are typically 50 minutes, weekly, with the same clinician throughout. We believe in the rhythm of regular meetings — it's what allows real material to surface and meaningful change to take hold.

Some clients work with us for a few months around a specific issue. Others stay for years, returning to deeper questions as life unfolds. Both are valid, and we'll think about it together.

Sessions can be in-person at our SoHo office or via secure telehealth throughout NY, NJ, and CT. Many of our clients do both, depending on the week.

Between sessions, your therapist is available for brief, time-sensitive contact. The work continues in your life — it just lives in the room once a week.

Personalized care

Two clients never get the same therapy.

We don't follow a single playbook. Your therapist draws from the methods that best fit you — pace, history, goals, and culture all matter.

That might mean grounding skills in week three, a deeper exploration of a childhood pattern in month four, and a couples session brought in months later when it feels useful. The plan is yours, made together, revisited often.
