Getting started

Reaching out is the hardest part. We'll take it from there.

We've designed our intake to feel calm, clear, and unhurried — because the way you're welcomed into therapy matters.

The process

Four small steps, in your own time.

01

Share a little about you

Send a brief inquiry — by form, email, or phone. Tell us what's bringing you in and what kind of support you're hoping for. Two minutes is plenty.

02

A free 20-minute consultation

Our intake clinician will call you back within two business days. You'll talk through what you're looking for, ask any questions, and decide together whether we're a good fit.

03

Matched with the right clinician

If we are, we'll recommend the therapist on our team we believe will fit you best — based on your goals, history, and what you tell us matters.

04

Your first session

A 60-minute first meeting with your therapist, in person or by video. From there, weekly sessions on a schedule that works for you.

After you reach out

What happens between hitting send and your first session.

Within two business days, our intake clinician will reply personally — not an automated message — to schedule your consultation at a time that works for you.

During that call, you'll share a little more about what's been going on and what you're hoping for. We'll talk through availability, fees, and insurance, and answer anything else you want to ask.

If it feels like a fit, we'll recommend a clinician and confirm your first session. If it doesn't, we'll point you toward thoughtful alternatives. Either way, you'll leave the call with a clear next step.

Fees & payment

Transparent, with no surprises.

Our fees reflect the experience of our clinicians and the long-form nature of the work. We'll share specific rates during your consultation so you can make an informed decision.

We accept all major cards, HSA/FSA, and ACH transfers. Sliding-scale slots are available on a limited basis and assigned with care.

Insurance

Out-of-network, with full support.

We are an out-of-network practice. Most clients with PPO plans are reimbursed for a meaningful portion of each session.

We provide monthly superbills and, if you'd like, will help you check your out-of-network mental health benefits before you commit.

If you're not sure yet

You don't have to be ready. You just have to be curious.

Many people reach out months after first thinking about it. There's no right moment — only the next small step. A consultation is a conversation, not a commitment.
